Thanks for writing this article, it was very informative and well-written. My cousin has suffered from Lyme disease for a number of years now, and she referred me to your post via Facebook. I’ve learned a lot about it from her struggles, but being fortunate enough not to have it myself, I’m sad to admit I often forget how difficult it is for those who do. I appreciated reading your honesty and information. Hang in there — there are a lot of us non-Lymies here to help you in the fight! I have prayed, and will continue to pray, that God will lead doctors to both recognize the dangers of Lyme disease and find a real, applicable cure that can remove its debilitating influence for good.

Perhaps the best piece of Lyme disease writing from a patient I’ve ever seen. And the information about The Red Cross is incredible! I had no idea… how in the world is there ANY controversy about this disease is beyond me. It’s real, it’s there, it’s not going away – in fact, it’s getting worse and people die from a disease they didn’t have to had they been diagnosed soon enough and treated properly.

You’re incredible and I’m rooting you on for your full recovery.
