I’ve begun my own business. I’ll love you even more if you help support me by taking a look, shopping around, and spreading the word! (Just kidding. I love you anyway!)
My store is called Seeking Serendipity.
I handcraft paper beads out of recycled papers and use those to create stylish, upcycled, completely unique pieces of jewelry. My goal is to create an income for myself by working from home on the days that my health allows. I cannot work a “normal” job, but I would love to be able to help my parents pay for some of my medical expenses. I’m excited to be striking out on my own doing what I love!
Several people have asked me about the name since I opened up shop in Fall of 2010, and I thought I’d share what was behind it.
1. AN APTITUDE FOR MAKING DESIRABLE DISCOVERIES BY ACCIDENT.
2. GOOD FORTUNE; LUCK
Serendipity is my favorite word. I love discovering serendipitous events in my life, and I’m all about seeking them out – accidentally on purpose, you might say. I don’t go looking for them. No. Instead I try to keep an open mind, and see them after the fact.
Once my eyes were opened I realized how we truly are surrounded by them!
Thank you in advance for you support! Just by reading my blog you are doing more for me than you’ll ever know. It means the world to me.
